I, the undersigned resident, of the above captioned rental property, hereby give my 30-day notice of my intent to vacate the premises on the date specified above. I understand that rent is due for thirty (30) days from the date this notice is received by the Property Owner and/or the Management Agent.
I understand in order to receive a full refund of my security deposit that:
- My rent must be paid in full.
- Any damages beyond reasonable wear and tear billed to me during residency
must be paid in full.
- All utility bills incurred by me during my residency must be paid in full, and that I must advise all utility service providers, whose bill will be due after vacancy, of my forwarding address.
- That my home must be in the same condition or better as when I moved in, excepting ordinary wear and tear.
- That I must provide an accurate forwarding address to which the deposit may be mailed.
- A 30-day notice in writing must be given and 30 days of rent paid in full. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Furthermore I understand the following MUST be completed in order to receive my full deposit: (this list is not all inclusive, refer to your lease agreement for further detail)
- All walls, floors, and ceilings thoroughly cleaned.
- Removal of all nails and screws in walls, patching of holes, and painting as needed.
- All appliances cleaned (i.e. stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, etc)
- Refrigerator is unplugged and left open.
- All trash is picked up and removed from the home and property.
- All carpets have been vacuumed and shampooed.
- All floors have been swept and moped.
- All sinks, tubs, and toilets have been cleaned.
- Any draperies and blinds present at move in, must be hung back in place.
- All exterior doors and windows are closed and locked.
- Grass has been cut and raked as applicable.
- All keys to the property must be returned to the office.
I further understand that should I fail to participate in a final inspection of the premises after removing my personal property therefrom, I consent to the opinion of the Owner or the Management Agent as to the final condition of the rented premises. Any applicable security deposit refund will be mailed to the forwarding address within thirty (30) days of vacancy and completion of move out inspection, whichever is later.
